Two Story Tree Stump House -

This is a great techniques class. STudents will learn how to make a realistic looking tree stump house, basic dry brushing and painting techniques, and basic landscaping. The tree is perfect for your favorite 1/4" critter or forest gnome. All skill levels welcome and everyone should have a finished piece at the end of class. Teacher provides all tools, paints, and landscaping.

Dressing a 1/4 Scale Mannequin - $28.00

Design your own dress or copy a style from a favorite era. The workshop will add that special touch to a sewing room or dress shop. Each participant will receive three fimo mannequins, basic patterns, and material and trim to complete three ensembles. Dresses are made of paper with fabric trim.

Make an old-fashioned kitchen table, then fill it to overflowing with cakes, pies, breads, etc.. for a Christmas scene using air-dry clay.

Supplies: sandpaper or emery board, glue, paintbrush, paint or stain (white will be provided), craft knife.

Every tree has a story to tell, the only difference is these trees have faces and beards! No two pieces are the same, every tree has a face only a squirrel or monkey could love. Students will learn how to make the tree, basic painting, and basic landscaping. Each piece also comes with handmade mushrooms for your favorite pixie or rabbit.

Basics of Painting Metal Miniatures - $25.00
Teacher: Millie Henschel

Students will learn the basic techniques I use to paint my metals. We will paint two rabbits with the same colors except for the base coat to see the difference the base color makes, we will do a dry brush technique on a covered dish and splatter a kitchen coffee pot.

Supplies: Teacher will provide all supplies needed. If the student has special paintbrushes they like for detail work, they may bring them. Also if magnification and lighting are needed the student will need to furnish those also.
